How Protection Plans work
1. Select a plan
Before submitting your reservation or up to 30 days after your reservation starts, select a plan. Store with peace of mind knowing you’re protected.
2. Document your items
Document the items you plan to store during the checkout process. If your property is damaged, make sure to take pictures and videos.
3. Report any damage
90% of losses are covered up to your maximum protection amount. Contact us to begin the reporting process and receive reimbursement.

How much do Protection Plans cost?
Protection Plan prices vary depending on the types of items you are storing and the level of protection you select. Prices will be clearly displayed during checkout before you pay.
What happens if I experience a loss?
For qualifying losses, Neighbor will reimburse you for 90% of the reasonable repair or replacement costs of your property.
If I don’t select a plan when I place a reservation, can I add one later?
Yes! You can add a Protection Plan within the first 30 days of your reservation move-in date. You can downgrade or cancel your plan at any time.
Are there any limitations or exclusions?
